Rated 5 out of 5 by kikiMama559 awesome deal
I took a shot and went to my local petsmart to see if I could find this item. I found the last one!!! The sale price was not listed, it stated it was $140.00. After speaking to a sales associate, they told me they would honor online price if it didn't ring up..but it did! My cat kiki absolutely loves this! Great buy! She is a year old and weighs about 4lbs.

by Zara I was surprised!
This was originally priced at $139 at my local petsmart and that's where I first found and purchased it. Because it was marked down to $19.95, I thought what's the worst that could happen?? If my cat doesn't like it, it's not like I'm out of a lot of money, right?!
It's very lightweight probably under 20 lbs. I live in an <800 sqft condo, so I needed something that wouldn't look gaudy in my living room and actually look appealing to me (and my cat, of course). I grabbed some Kong Naturals cat nip when I got this cat tree because I just didn't know if my cat would take to the tree right away or if I would need to rub it down in cat nip. When I set it up (mine was already assembled at the store), my cat sniffed it. I rubbed it down in cat nip and she instantly went to scratching the artificial grass on the bottom and she was playing with the string hanging from the bottom perch. She scratched the bottom perch a lot. When she got tired, she went to the very top where there's a bed cushion in it and she curled up into a ball and has been sleeping there even before I started typing this! She absolutely loves her bed. If you are unsure about your cat finding this tree or any tree appealing, I highly recommend using cat nip. If you want to start off small- use the cardboard scratcher first and put cat nip on it. Once you learn to trust the idea that your cat loves cat nip and will take a liking to probably anything that is rubbed down in cat nip, you can try moving up to a cat tree. This cat tree is sturdy. I have a female 5-6 lb cat, so she's tiny but almost full grown and is a year old. I think it will hold up to a 10-15 lb cat just okay, but more than that, it might wobble or lose its integrity over time. I honestly recommend this tree for smaller cats up to 10lbs to be on the safe side.
A great purchase! I don't know why there aren't many reviews on this tree!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EMarie I love this cat tree! My cat chews on carpet, plush, and fleece which is on basically every other cat tree ever made. So, I decided to give this one a shot, and Luna has loved it. Her favorite part is the basket (but mine didn't come with a pillow??). The weaving has come loose in one place, but it is not coming apart, even though Luna chews on it. Luna loves to chew on the rope and wood, and she claws at the faux grass base. I only wish National Geographic made one that was 3 or 4 levels for my rambunctious friend!
