Trixie Badalona Cat Tree
I have spent HOURS of my life searching for the right cat tree. I wanted something simple that my cat could climb and scratch and I didn't want to spend more than $50. This seemed like the perfect fit - however I am not at all impressed with the quality of this product.
When we got this thing put together I was in complete shock at how wobbly it was. The bottom is stable but the two platforms wobble like you wouldn't believe. My cat seemed interested in it and I felt bad for being a cheapskate and buying her this complete piece of junk - so I put it up against the wall and braced the lower platform under a windowsill. I ended up having to put 3 nails in the wall to make it stable enough for my cat to climb on. After doing that, I will say that she loves it. She scratches it, pounces from one platform to the other and she even slept in the bottom on the first night we had it.
I guess if you want a decent free standing, stable cat tree you have to spend $60+ But if you want to spend $40 and put a few nails in your wall instead, this works I guess. I'm keeping it since I don't want the hassle of disassembling it and shipping it back. And like I said, my cat does enjoy it.
