agree with the other reviewers about the fingerbrush. But that aside, the cats didn't like the taste AT ALL.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LillyBear Hasn't worked so far
It hasn't really worked much on my dog's tartar problem. It can get surface items off, like fur between her teeth. The finger brush is too large for her mouth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CrazyCatParents Was Great Till They Changed the Formula
They took out the main enzyme, Lysozyme, and changed the ratios of ingredients, so it neither looks the same nor tastes the same. It used to be more of a paste, but not it's more of a gel. Our cats used to LOVE it, as much as any of their treats. Best of all, at their annual dental cleanings, our 30-year vet said he feels it works, based on other cats' teeth he sees. Ever since Arm & Hammer changed the formula, our babies don't like it. Won't use it. Turn their noses up to it. We used to spend tons on the $12 packs because it's all they'd use and Arm & Hammer won't sell the toothpaste tubes alone for less than the kits, yet we paid for it all anyway. Not anymore, not now that cats won't use it. A&H probably did it to save money, but they're only going to lose money. We used to spend over $300 a year on this, so they'll lose that from our household alone. If they switch back, they need to switch to the old tube faces, too, so that we'll know when they've reverted to the original recipe, the one cats will actually use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CaliKali DON'T USE FINGER BRUSH!!! Otherwise great product.
I took off one star for that NASTY, HARD FINGER BRUSH that would hurt the cat's mouth. Don't use it!! Just put the toothpaste on the regular brush and let your cat lick it, then gently begin to brush her teeth. My cat won't stand for anything she doesn't like, but she loves the tuna flavor of this toothpaste so much that she lets me brush her teeth. Then I let her finish by chewing on the brush for a few seconds, just to show it who's boss. Good thing it comes with a new toothbrush each time. I make sure to brush all her teeth on all sides, even the tiny ones, and just have to be careful not to go too far back (don't want to gag her). But ARM & HAMMER NEEDS TO MAKE A SOFT FINGER BRUSH THAT WON'T HURT THE CAT! I pity any cat that gets the finger brush. Also, the price is outrageous so I only buy when I can get some sort of discount.
