Rated 1 out of 5 Don't buy it. Seriously
Broke after a couple days. Cost waaaaaaay to much to be worth nothing. I thought Kong was suppose to be like indestructible. Ugh and yes it was used correctly. I'm done with Kong

Rated 1 out of 5 by newfyowner worst product ever!!!
I had this product less than 1 day and my Newfoundland tore it apart. We bought this harness because it had a convenient handle, and it looked comfortable. We sized it appropriately and took our dog outside to work in the yard. The harness was frayed and broken in multiple places within a few hours. Kong has no warranty over the quality of their products. Hopefully Petsmart will help us with a replacement or refund, otherwise I'll have to stop frequenting Petsmart as a customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by leannie Broke after a couple of uses
I purchased two of these harnesses because they looked like they were well made and would be comfortable for my dogs. As some other reviews mentioned, one of the straps broke. I only got two uses out of it. The harness was fitted properly, so I don't even know how it could have happened. Too bad because I really thought these were going to be a good product.

by Sparra Amazing if used correctly
It seems the biggest issue with the low ratings on the product is it's "Durability". I would just like to say, I've had a 55lb Blue lacy lab mix trained previously to hunt and now trained in protection go after small game multiple times and have had no issues luring her back in after she's hit the end of a 33ft line. Misuse of this product is not the creator's issue, it works for what it's supposed to be used for. Note, just like any tool, it's supposed to be removed after use -DO NOT LEAVE IT ON, your dog could get it caught on something, chew it up, ect. It's meant to be worn with supervision, just like any other harness.
Personally, I prefer nylon over leather -that is the only reason I've bought this harness. It's well made to be durable if used correctly. I am constantly working with my dog and it's nice to have her offleash or close and still be able to hold the traffic handle, or to build up drive and let her loose without having to bother with the leash.
I have other harnesses, but on casual walks or hikes they're too heavy for her to lug around and I much prefer a harness with a traffic loop. I've had the harness for nearly five months now with no issues, my dog walks offleash next to me in the city, there has been a time since I've gotten it that I've had to put her work to the test, the handle made it almost comfortable to hold her back, but easy enough to grab her when I needed to. I also like the color and the way it fits, there's no backing out of this harness if properly fitted, unlike a pulling harness which is meant to actually encourage pulling.
